• Aubree K. Rable had a warrant issued for her arrest Oct. 24 charging her with felony counts of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Kristopher P. Schafer had a warrant issued for his arrest Oct. 24 charging him with felony counts of possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence in felony prosecution and keeping or maintaining a public nuisance.

• Shay E. Smith had a warrant issued for her arrest Oct. 24 charging her with felony counts of possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence in felony prosecution and keeping or maintaining a public nuisance.

Sentences

• Matt Colburn pled guilty Oct. 29 to felony DWI and his probation from a prior felony of possession of a controlled substance was revoked. Colburn sentenced to 10 years in the department of corrections under Statute 559.115 as requested by prosecutor Andrew Curley.

• Matt Denney had his probation revoked Oct. 29 and was sentenced to seven years in the department of corrections. Denney was on probation for three counts of felony possession of a controlled substance and one felony count of resisting arrest. It was revoked after a new offense of resisting arrest. Judge Nathan Kelsaw intended to recommend placement under Statute 559.115, however, Denney requested his sentence be executed so that he did not have to return to probation and would be eligible for a parole release.

• Matthew Doyle pled guilty Oct. 26 to two counts of failing to register as a sex offender and was sentenced to 14 years in the department of corrections under Statute 559.115.

• Triston Dubois pled guilty Oct. 26 to three counts of felony possession of a controlled substance and received seven years of suspended execution of sentence probation with five years of probation and parole. Judge Kelly Parker granted a request of Prosecutor Andrew Curley to address substance abuse by ordering Dubois to complete the CORE program.

• Jimmy Govreau pled guilty Oct. 26 to forging a money order and was sentenced to suspended imposition of sentence probation with supervision, restitution and no contact with victim.

John Hewkin has been a sports fan since he was a kid. He’s played, coached and been a fan of sports. I was a sports writer for 15 years before moving back to Missouri, but to this day you will still find me in my man cave a lot of nights and weekends watching something that requires a ball.
