The Iron County C-4 BETA organization proudly invites local veterans and their families to attend a Veterans Day Breakfast in recognition of their service and sacrifice. The event will take place at the Elmer P. Beard Gymnasium in Viburnum, Missouri on Tuesday, Nov. 11.
The morning will begin with a complimentary breakfast at 8 a.m. for all attendees, followed by a special program at 9 a.m. featuring guest speaker JC Kuessner, former Missouri State Representative. Kuessner will share his reflections on the theme, “We owe so much to so few,” honoring the courage and dedication of America’s veterans.
The breakfast is free and open to all veterans and their families, but RSVPs are required by Nov. 5. To reserve a spot, please call the Iron County C-4 High School office at 573-244-5521.
“The students of the Viburnum schools are excited to continue this long tradition in honoring our veterans,” shared student organizer Clara Gibbs.
Community members who would like to honor a local veteran during the event are encouraged to submit a photo and brief background information by Wednesday, Nov. 5 to Andrew Myers at andrew.myers@ironc4.com.
This event is a heartfelt thank-you from the Iron County C-4 BETA organization and the greater community to the brave individuals who have served in our nation’s armed forces.
