Injuries were reported Nov. 19 resulting from a one-vehicle crash that occurred on State Route H four miles west of Salem, according to an online report of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

A 2005 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Matthew C. Lowrance, 22, of Salem, was westbound at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 19 when the driver fell asleep, it ran off the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.

Lowrance received moderate injuries in the crash and was transported to Salem Memorial District Hospital by Salem Ambulance.

The Chevrolet sustained total damage and was removed from the scene by Whitakers Towing.
