Salem R-80’s board of education approved a new contract for superintendent Lynne Reed and hired a football coach during a special closed session meeting Thursday in the administration building, according to minutes from the meeting.
The motion to approve the superintendent’s contract was made by Andrew Wynn and seconded by Phillip Mercer. The motion passed 7-0.
