According to reports of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol:
• Injuries were reported Friday, Sept. 12, resulting from a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Highway 63 near Beaver Creek. A 2003 Chevrolet 2500, driven by a 28-year-old Rolla man, was southbound at 12 p.m. Sept. 12 when it traveled off the right side of the roadway and overcorrected causing the vehicle to cross the center of the road and strike a northbound 2000 Pontiac Montana, driven by a 30-year-old Salem man. A 10-year-old boy Salem boy riding as a Pontiac passenger suffered minor injuries in the crash and was transported by Phelps Health Ambulance to Phelps Health for treatment. The Chevrolet sustained total damage and was removed from the scene by D&D Towing. The Pontiac sustained moderate damage and was also removed by D&D Towing.
