The Piece & Plenty Quilt Guild will host their Ozark Festival of Quilts Show Saturday, October 7 from 9-5 and Sunday, October 8 from 12-4 at Rolla Middle School located at 111 Soest Rd. Rolla. Admission to the show is $5.
The guild members will display over 200 quilts created by quilters from Rolla and several surrounding counties. Visitors will find demonstrations on both days of the show. There will be three on Saturday and two on Sunday. You will also find three bed turnings (two on Saturday; one on Sunday) at the show featuring “Lessons Learned”. Treasures can be found at the Vintage Market, Silent Auction, handmade goods at the PPQG Boutique, and a variety of vendors.
The guild will have two raffles available during the show. One for a beautiful, embroidered quilt and a second for a sewing machine. Tickets for the quilt will be sold during the show and winner will be drawn at 4 PM, Sunday, October 8, 2023.
The sewing machine is a Husqvarna Viking Tribute 150c 150th Anniversary Edition donated by Uniquely Yours. The retail value of the machine is approximately $1199 and comes with some additional goodies. Tickets are limited and winner will be drawn at 4 PM, Sunday, October 8, 2023. Light refreshments will be available for purchase for breakfast and lunch.
