It was a treat to have all of the R-80 leadership team visit Salem Rotary October 16th, 2023. Left to right is Herman Blau, Principal of William Lynch Elementary, Rachel Green, Middle School Principal, Branden Piatt, Upper Elementary Principal, Lacie Kolbe, Assistant High School Principal, Lynne Reed, Superintendent, Jody Heavin, High School Principal and Nathan Wills, Assistant Superintendent. Dr Lynne Reed will be retiring from her position in June and she spoke with pride about the current staff knowing that she was leaving it in capable hands. Nathan Wills will be taking over as Superintendent and he talked about the upcoming challenge and the opportunity. Each leader spoke about their school, their kids, the staff and the programs they are offering to make sure all students are given the tools, skills, and confidence so they all have an equal opportunity to make the most of their education.
