The 2020 Grand Prize winner of the national Brighter World OnLine Contest is Salem High School senior Annabelle Pryor. Pryor was chosen out of 1,500 entries with her encaustic (melted crayon) painting titled Castles in Spain. Pieces from Salem students were submitted in March. Pryor received $750 in cash and $1,000 in art supplies will be donated to the art program at the high school, said art instructor Tana Kettner (right).
