Funeral service for Imogene Henderson was March 24, 2012 at James & Gahr Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Rev. Michelle Scott Huffman officiating.

Interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Gerald Berhorst, Dean Bryan, Craig Butler, Bill Harper, Jacob Harper, Britney Maples and Tammy Spyers.
Mrs. Henderson was born July 12, 1930 in Shannon County to Mitchell and Mayme (Cottrell) Fowler. She married Roscoe Harper. They were the parents of three children. Later she married Alvin Henderson. Mrs. Henderson died March 16, 2012 in O’Fallon at the age of 81 years, eight months and four days.
Survivors include her children, Barbara Ballard and husband, Dale, St. Peters; Steven Harper and wife, Carol, Ballwin; and Donna Harper and Tammy, New Florence; sisters, Doris Wofford and Marlene Tipton, both of California state; grandchildren, Matthew Ballard, Bill Harper, Jake Harper and Britney Maples; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Maya Ballard; and a host of extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands, Roscoe Harper and Alvin Henderson; two brothers, Norman Fowler and Harold Fowler; and two sisters, Jerry Walker and Hazel Martin.
