Funeral service for Jason Arnold Skeeters was June 18, 2012 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Andrew Yount officiating. Memories were shared by family and friends.

Interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
Pallbearers were Michael Walther, Marvin Sutter, Mike Pruett, Nathan Chambers, Dale Drury and James Yount. Honorary pallbearers were Dwane Whitaker, Eldon Flett, Terry Yount, Stephen Gilliland and Dennis Skeeters.
Mr. Skeeters was born July 7, 1941 in St. Louis to Arnold and Ula (Flett) Skeeters. He married Jerri Lee Toomey. They were the parents of four children. Mr. Skeeters died June 14, 2012 in Salem at the age of 70 years.
Survivors include his children, Julie Sutter and husband, Marvin, Ballwin; Jennifer Skeeters, Wildwood; Joseph Skeeters and wife, Juliana, Denver, Colo.; Jill Walther and husband, Mike, Salem; grandchildren, Bryan Skeeters; Jon Svoboda; Jacob and Matthew Walther; Dmitriy Balaban; Sarah and Thomas Skeeters.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and wife.
Mr. Skeeters served as a paratrooper in the United States Army.
