Mr. Volcek died July 1, 2020 in Salem.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Volcek; mother, Jean Volcek; brothers, Jerry Volcek and wife, Mel; and Jeff Volcek; sister, Karen Zimmerman; nephews, Kyle Volcek and Jerald Volcek and their families; children and stepchildren, Jon J. Hollenbeck and wife, Danielle; Bryon Johns and wife, Mary; Kathy Sercel and husband, Darrel; and Krissy Faulkner and husband, Travis; grandchildren, Bethany Hollenbeck, John Hollenbeck, Karlie Hellyer, Kari Johns, Tamara Johns, Nathan Faulkner, Makena Faulkner, Micha Faulkner and great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his father, Gerald Volcek; previous spouses and children, Debbie Volcek, Theresa Volcek and Deborah Johns Volcek.
Mr. Volcek served four terms in Army Airborne during Vietnam.
