Funeral service for Ruby Loretta Faulkner was November 30, 2017 at Locust Grove United Baptist Church, Oates, with Bro. Garry Mathes and Bro. Denny Mathes officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary, Salem.
Music was provided by Garry Mathes and congregational singing.
Interment was in the Myers Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Keith Barton, Steve Connors, Allen Mathes, Robby Mathes, Kennard Mayfield and Bud Jordan.
Mrs. Faulkner was born May 24, 1928 in Oates to Jacob and Emaline (Foster) Mathes. Mrs. Faulkner died November 27, 2017 in St. Louis at the age of 89 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Charlotte Mayfield and husband, Donnie, Sapulpa, Oklahoma; brothers, Carleton Mathes, Oates; Edgar Gene Mathes, Union; sisters, Arvessia Goforth, Salem; grandchildren, Rebecca Duke, Sapulpa; Darrin Mayfield and wife, Laura, Sapulpa; great-grandchildren, Brent, Megan, Josh, Ethan, Cara and Kayla; and a host extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Louie Mathes; and sister, Maxine Bailey.
Mrs. Faulkner was a member of Locust Grove United Baptist Church.
