Funeral service for Charles Gary Cubbage was September 30, 2016 at James & Gahr Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Pastor Doug Walter officiating.
Music was provided by Sara Pines and John Casey.
Interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Lowell Fowler, Roger Gray, Joe Enloe, Gary Craig, Darrel Blackwell and Bill Walker. Honorary pallbearers were Tyler Casey, Ron Hedley, Kelzie Wisdom and Ron Inman.
Mr. Cubbage was born September 6, 1937 in Kennett to Charles A. and Marjorie (Cagle) Cubbage. He married Peggy Karr December 30, 1967. Mr. Cubbage died September 24, 2016 in Salem at the age of 79 years.
Survivors include his daughter, Laurel Casey, Nixa; grandchildren, Tyler Casey and wife, Deane, El Paso, Texas; Brettney Casey, Lee Summit; great-grandchildren, Brayden Tarpenning, Connor Casey, Amelia Casey; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and wife.
Mr. Cubbage was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge #225, Shiners, Scottish Rite, American Legion Post #99, Salem Eagles and Salem Golf and Country Club.
