Funeral service for Carter U. Volner will be at 6 p.m. April 3, 2025 at Kutis South County Chapel, St. Louis.
Mr. Volner was born February 25, 1932 to Roy M. and Della F. (Trolinger) Volner. He married Christine Shepard June 29, 1957. They were the parents of two children. Mr. Volner died March 28, 2025 in St. Louis at the age of 93 years.
Survivors include his wife, Christine; daughter, Lori Albrecht and husband, John; son, Benjamin Volner; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, Nicolas Rodgers (wife, Jessi, sons, Rhett and Brooks); Amanda Pyatt (husband, Steve, children, Ava and Caleb; Adam Albrecht (wife, Zerina, daughter, Stella); Garrett Volner and Lydia Volner; brother-in-law, Vernon Mathes; sister-in-law, Betty Volner Ivie; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Silas, Coell, and Buell Volner; sisters, Gladys Overfelt, Geneva Mathes, Audrey Hinson, Betty Johnson, Bonnie Mathes, and two infant sisters, Delight and Vickie.
Visitation is 3 p.m. until time of service April 3, 2025 at Kutis South County Chapel, St. Louis.
