Funeral service for Carl Eugene Sapaugh was August 4, 2022 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Pastor Chris Hendrix officiating. Eulogies were shared by Brian and James Sapaugh.
Interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were James Sapaugh, Chase Sapaugh, Matt Sapaugh, Stephen Sapaugh, Cameron Sapaugh and Matt Sapaugh. Honorary pallbearer was Darrel Sapaugh.
Mr. Sapaugh was born March 19, 1945 in Dent County to Sylvan and Dorothy Mabel (Petty) Sapaugh. He was the father of one son. Mr. Sapaugh died July 31, 2022 in Salem at the age of 77 years.
Survivors include his son, Brian Sapaugh and wife, Heather, Telephone, Texas; siblings, Shirley Dean, James Sapaugh, Eldon Sapaugh, all of Salem; and Linda Dinzler, St. Louis; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and brother, Jewel Sapaugh.
