Funeral service for David Clair Tune was January 11, 2015 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Pastor Billy Anderson officiating.
Music was provided by recorded selections. Taps were played by the American Legion Post #99.
Interment was in the Tune Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Scott Tune, Jeremy Tune, Gary Kellermann, Tony Gorman, Jack Graham and James Crocker.
Mr. Tune was born May 15, 1938 in Dent County to Everett and Tessie (Hubbs) Tune. He married Margie Arbazene Mayfield May 23, 1959. Mr. Tune died January 8, 2015 in Salem at the age of 76 years.
Survivors include his wife, Margie Tune, Salem; children, Phillip Tune, Salem; and Janette Kellermann and husband, Gary, Salem; brother, Harold Tune and wife, Nancy, Salem; sister, Loreita McCarter, Salem; sisters-in-law, Betty Tune; Leta Clark and husband, J; and Gracia Langston and husband, Rick, all of Salem; brother-in-law, Donald Campbell, Salem; grandchildren, Jeremy Tune and wife, Bobbie, Loose Creek; Angela London, Salem; Cheryl Graham and husband, Jack, Salem; Bethany Kellermann, Salem; Jessica Tune, Sullivan; and Samantha Tune, Salem; and eight great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Charles, Paul, Johnny and Lawrence Tune; sisters, Evelyn Tindell, Hilda Clinton and Leona Tune.
Mr. Tune served in the United States Marine Corp.
