Funeral service for David Paul Golden was April 2, 2021 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Viburnum, with Pastor Adam Asher officiating.
Music was provided by great-granddaughter, Allie.
Interment was in the Stone Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Dean Golden, Dale Golden, Jory Hock, Wesley Snider, Dewayne Overton, Barry Wisdom, Terry Wolfe and Colton Overton.
Mr. Golden was born September 26, 1944 in Evansville, Indiana, to Lester “Bliss” and Ethel Golden. He married Joyce Emma Conaway October 25, 1988. They were the parents of four children. Mr. Golden died March 28, 2021 at the age of 76 years.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Golden, Boss; children, Lisa Wisdom and husband, Barry, Dixon; Wesley Snider, Boss; Dean Golden and wife, Natalie, St. James; Dale Golden and wife, Elgeana, Cuba; brothers-in-law, Noris Gray, Evansville, Indiana; Cleo Conaway, St. Clair; sister-in-law, Ruth Henry, Troy; grandchildren, Ryan, Roxanna, Tricia, Joshua, Jacob, James, Jeremy, Shelby, Austin, Mariah, Brennan; and a host of great-grandchildren; special niece, Patricia and Dewayne Overton, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and sister, Doris Gray.
Mr. Golden served in the United States Army and earned the Expert Badge, National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal.
