Mr. Freeze was born December 12, 1933 in St. Louis to Dophie and Zella (Hill) Freeze. He married Leona Faye Abbott March 30, 1985. He was the father of two children. Mr. Freeze died December 23, 2020 in Salem at the age of 87 years.
Survivors include his wife, Leona Freeze, Salem; son, Jeff Freeze, St. Louis; brother, Donald Freeze, Licking; four stepchildren; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his son, Russell Freeze; parents; and two brothers.
Mr. Freeze served in the United States Army and was a longtime member of Salem Full Gospel Church.
