Memorial service for Ronald “Ron” Joseph Kohut was March 3, 2025 at Salem Christian Church, with Pastor Tim Hill officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary, Salem.
Mr. Kohut was born May 2, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois, to Joseph and Mary (Riggs) Kohut. He married Jill Victoria Jenschke September 30, 1972. They were the parents of two children. Mr. Kohut died February 21, 2025 in Salem at the age of 75 years.
Survivors include his wife, Jill Kohut, Salem; children, Ronnie Kohut Jr., Adairsville, Georgia; Brian Kohut and wife, Robin, Salem; and Jesse Kohut, Bunker; sister, Diane Lonsdale and husband, John, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin; brothers, Jerry Kohut and wife, Laurie, Branson; Richard Kohut and wife, Vicki, Branson; Robert Kohut, Jacksonville, Florida; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
