Funeral service for Verna Loretta (Patterson) Reed was April 9, 2013 at Dent County Memorial Chapel, Salem, with nephew Gary Patterson officiating.
Music was provided by recorded selections.
Interment was in the Dry Fork Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Frank DePriest, Harold DePriest, Al Dulworth, Gary Patterson, Danny Warren and Bill Floyd.
Mrs. Reed was born January 17, 1917 in Salem to Frank and Viola (Summers) Patterson. She married William “Bill” Reed. They were the parents of three sons. Mrs. Reed died April 7, 2013 in Willow Springs at the age of 96 years, two months and 20 days.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Reed and wife, Carolyn; and Dennis Reed; granddaughter, Donna Rowe and husband, Tulley; three great-grandsons, Jason, Justin, and Ben Rowe; sister, Ilene DePriest; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Bill; second husband, Josefs Konstantinovas; son, Billie Don Reed; brothers, Pete and Lloyd Patterson; sisters, Louise Inman, Lucille Thompson and Elsie Warren; and daughter-in-law, Marcia Reed.
Mrs. Reed was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
