Funeral service for Leona Marie (Head) Riley was August 23, 2025 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Bro. Billy Miller officiating.
Interment was in Jadwin Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Dennis McCarter, Rick Shults, Matt McCarter, Gayle Davis, Caleb Smith, and Hayden McCarter.
Mrs. Riley was born July 22, 1936 in Fredericktown to Maude Head. She married Doyle Riley June 26, 1958. They were the parents of two sons. Mrs. Riley died August 20, 2025 in St. Louis at the age of 89 years.
Survivors include her husband, Doyle Riley, Salem; son, Gary Riley and wife, Trina Dunn, Salem; granddaughter, Samantha Riley and friend, Caleb Smith, Salem; brother, Louis “Bud” Head and wife, Wanda, Salem; nieces and nephews, Vicki Lewis and husband, David McDonald, St. James; Shelby Sheppard and partner, Kenny Henry, St. James; Chad Head, Salem; Dennis McCarter and wife, Lori, Foristell; Diane Davis and husband, Gayle, Rogersville; and Delbert McCarter, St. James; and a host of extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her son, Glen Riley; daughter-in-law, Jonetta Riley; mother, Maude Head-Holly; sister, Arlene Bellew; sisters-in-law, Joyce Head and Phyllis McCarter and husband, Gene.
