Funeral service for Rhonda Kay Parks was September 26, 2025 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Pastor Charlie Younger and Pastor Jerry Lea officiating.
Interment was in Gladden Empire Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Calvin Myers, Donald Lea Jr., Roger Anderson, Al Myers, Randy Lea, and Jamie Richardson. Honorary pallbearers were her grandsons, T.J., Cameran, Zach, Aaron, Austin, and Andy.
Mrs. Parks was born May 21, 1959 in Farmington to Donald Lea Sr. and Geraldine (Bacon). She was the mother of two sons. She married John “Smokey” Parks June 26, 1999. To this union she gained four stepdaughters. Mrs. Parks died September 21, 2025 in Salem at the age of 66 years.
Survivors include her husband, John “Smokey” Parks, Salem; mother, Geraldine Lea, Salem; sons, Calvin Myers II, Salem; and Al Myers, Springfield; stepdaughters, Jenny Hensley and husband, Will; Shawna Morgan and husband, Tyrone; Brandi Boyer; and Vicki Clark and husband, Eric, all of Iowa; brothers, Donald Lea Jr. and Randy Lea, both of Salem; sisters, Brenda Richardson and husband, James, Higbee; and Tressia Anderson and husband, Ronnie, Salem; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death was her father, Donald Lea Sr.
