Funeral service for Sam Gorman, of Licking, was December 30, 2020 at James & Gahr Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Mike Gorman officiating.
Interment will be in the Patterson Cemetery at a later date.
Mr. Gorman was born October 4, 1955 in Waynesville to Calvin and Betty (Crabtree) Gorman. He married Diane Gorman. Mr. Gorman died December 25, 2020 at the age of 65 years.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Diane Gorman, Licking; children, Julie Jaegers and husband, Jason, Loose Creek; and Danny Gorman, Rolla; sister, Lorna Bradshaw and husband, Wayne, Montauk; and special aunt, Della Crabtree; grandchildren, Dylan, Peyton, Kaleb, Mia, Emma and Sterling Jaegers; and Aspyn, Jaxon and Sadie Gorman; great-grandson, Bryer Jaegers; and a host of extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Mr. Gorman worked for Dent County Road and Bridge where he started as brush cutter and worked up to supervisor over his area.
