Interment was in the North Lawn Cemetery, Salem.
Mr. Martin was born December 14, 1958 in Elgin, Illinois, to James Wayne Martin Sr. and Betty Malone Shipley. He died January 1, 2025 in Marble Hill at the age of 66 years.
Survivors include his sisters, Bonnie Quick, Salem; Carolyn Burke, Georgia; and Mary Martin, Dexter; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, James Wayne Martin Jr. and Ronnie Dean Martin; and stepfather, Charles Shipley.
