Funeral service for Junior Claude Hubbs was November 20, 2022 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Pastor Bill Stack officiating.
Music was provided by Sheri Stack.
Interment was in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Missouri Honors Team and American Legion Post 99.
Pallbearers were Hayden Curley, Tegen Curley, Easton Curley, Korbin Keller, Christopher Knight, William Hubbs, Logan Hubbs and Jason LaBrash. Honorary pallbearer was Owen Curley.
Mr. Hubbs was born February 6, 1940 in Dent County to Claude William and Lois Maxine (Westerman) Hubbs. He married Sue December 31, 1980. They shared three children. Mr. Hubbs died November 16, 2022 at the age of 82 years.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Hubbs, Salem; children, Jeff Curley and wife, Jacque, Marshfield; Terra Herzing and husband, Scott, Swansea, Illinois; and Justin Hubbs and wife, Hilliary, Sedalia; siblings, Ronald Hubbs and wife, Linda, Huntsville, Ohio; Joe Hubbs, Salem; Judith LaBrash and husband, Richard, Salem; Faye Jones and husband, Cal, Overland Park, Kansas; and Sally Pitts and husband, Jack, Springfield, Illinois; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; sister-in-law, Gail Hubbs; and nephew, Ricky LaBrash Jr.
Mr. Hubbs served in the United States Air Force.
