Funeral service for Darrell Theodore Nash, of Jerseyville, Illinois, was December 17, 2022 at Crawford Funeral Home, Jerseyville, Illinois.
Interment was in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Jerseyville. Jerseyville American Legion Post #492 provided Full Military Honors.
Mr. Nash was born February 19, 1947 in Hardage to Benjamin Franklin and Sylvia Hester (Tucker) Nash. He married Deloris June Burgess June 1, 1968. They were the parents of three children. Mr. Nash died December 10, 2022 in Jerseyville at the age of 75 years.
Survivors include his wife, June Nash, Jerseyville; children, Missy Stellhorn and husband, Doug, Jerseyville; and Patty Kallal and husband, Mark, Frisco, Texas; and Shawn Nash, Jerseyville; grandchildren, Cassie and Jason Wilson; Ashlynn and Dougie Grizzle; Matthew and Ashley Stellhorn; Kristin Stellhorn; Kaitlyn Stellhorn; Kyleigh Stellhorn; Kendall Stellhorn; Randall Kallal; and Colton Nash; great-granddaughters, Hunter Wilson and Lennon Stellhorn; brothers, Vertis Nash and wife, Gloria, Salem; and Dave Nash and wife, Kathy, Newberg, Oregon; sisters, Janice Greenburg, Hermitage; and Zelda Schafer, Buffalo; sister-in-law, Dormalee Nash, St. Charles.
Preceding him in death were his parents; nine brothers and two sisters, Ace (Alfreda) Nash, Arnold (Juanita) Nash, Curtis (Imogone) Nash, Donald Nash, Douglas (Mary) Nash, Ed (Lorraine) Nash, Erwin (Betty) Nash, Murl (Wilma) Nash, Paul (Wilma) Nash, Trudy (Larry) Wallis and Vallie Flanders; and two brothers-in-law, Les Schafer and Adrian Greenburg.
Mr. Nash served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
