Celebration of Life Service for William Earl Seay was February 16, 2013 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem. A eulogy was given by his son, William Camm Seay, special memories were shared by other family members. Closing prayer was given by Pastor Doug Walter.
Mr. Seay was born December 13, 1921 in Salem to Earl Aubray and Drusilla May (Callahan) Seay. He married Shirley Elizabeth Anderson May 6, 1950. They were the parents of four children. Mr. Seay died January 29, 2013 in St. Louis at the age of 91 years.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Seay, Salem; children, Jefferson Seay, Salem; Elizabeth Condray and husband, Mike, Salem; Anderson Seay, Salem; and William Camm Seay and wife, Sara, Steelville; sisters, Virginia Covington and husband, Don, Maryland state; Martha Hamblin, Salem; and Drusilla Rees and husband, Dave, St. Louis; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two sisters, Gracia Mackey and Helen Barnes; and one brother, Edward Seay.
Mr. Seay was the oldest living, continuous member of the Salem United Methodist Church.
