A private family interment for Vernon Leon Asher, Sr., of Eldon, will be at a later date in the Asher Cemetery, Oates. Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.

Mr. Asher was born May 22, 1950 in Pekin, Illinois, to Henry Frank Asher and Norma (Clements) Chase. He married Deborah (Gaskins) Asher October 25, 1969. Mr. Asher died April 10, 2025 in Eldon at the age of 74 years.
