Interment was in the Lone Pine-Piatt Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jeff Piatt, Jason Piatt, Justin Piatt, Charlie Brown, Shane Nunley and Charles Nelson.
Mr. Piatt was born May 4, 1950 in Eminence to William Henry and Elsie Ethel (Ellerman) Piatt. Mr. Piatt died December 19, 2014 in Salem at the age of 64 years.
Survivors include his children, Jeff Piatt, Boss; Jason Piatt and fiancé, Sharon, Salem; Jennifer Brown and husband, Charlie, Rolla; and Justin Piatt and wife, Tina, Bunker; brothers, Edward Piatt and wife, Faye, Timber; Jerry Piatt and wife, Diane, Timber; Gary Piatt and wife, Cathy, Timber; and Kenny Piatt and wife, Candy, Bunker; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces; nephews; extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Howard Piatt and Harold Piatt; sisters, Edna Landrigan and Marsha Harcus.
