Funeral service for James Ulysses Curry was April 29, 2025 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Pastor Kenny Martin officiating.
Interment was in the North Lawn Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the United States Air Force and American Legion Post 99.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Crain, Keith Crain, Michael Cooper, Dale Wells, Jon Spears, and Justin Robertson.
Mr. Curry was born March 16, 1942 in Salem to Ernest and Wyota (Clark) Curry. He died April 5, 2025 in Rolla at the age of 83 years.
Survivors include his sister, Oleta Donner, Oak Grove; niece and nephews, Kenneth Crain and partner, Justin Robertson, Rolla; Michael Cooper and partner, Scott McCoy, New Orleans, Louisiana; Rena Spears and husband, Jon, Lee Summit; Keith Crain, Bonne Terre; and Dale Wells, St. Louis; and a host of extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents, and siblings.
Mr. Curry served in the United States Air Force.
