Funeral service for Perry Joe Barton was October 15, 2021 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Viburnum, with Pastor Greg Freeman officiating.
Interment was in the Barton Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Andrew Barton, Ethan Barton, Bob Amaral, Jimmy Rosa, Jared Jarvis and Timmy Thurman. Honorary pallbearers were Rusty Rosa and Jamey Swain.
Mr. Barton was born June 15, 1941 in Mt. Grove to Raymond Milton and Beulah (Estes) Barton. He was the father of three sons. He married Sandra Julia Mecey October 24, 1997. To this union, he gained four children. Mr. Barton died October 11, 2021 in St. Louis at the age of 80 years.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Barton; children, Dennis Barton and wife, Cynthia, Boss; Kenny Barton and wife, Kathleen, O’Fallon; Tommy Barton and wife, Kelly, Lesterville; Selina Swain; Jimmy Rosa; Veronica Jarvis and husband, Bryan; and Rusty Rosa; grandchildren, Andrew, Ethan, Macie, Natalie, Cassie, Clay, Jamey, Jeremy, Shawnda, Jared, Justin, Andrea, Ashton; great-grandchildren, Marci, Kelsey, Keeley, Konner, Max, Otto, Bryson, Mandy, Brantley, JJ Jr., Caden and Owen; siblings, Dorothy Thompson and husband, Charles, Bunker; Norma Martin and husband, Eddie, Viburnum; Patsy Rudy and significant other, Clyde Cantrell, Park Hills; Ruby Dace, Sullivan; Donnie Barton, Boss; Billy Barton and wife, Diane, Salem; Junior Barton and wife, Sandy, Pleasant Plains, Illinois; Virginia Barton, Boss; and Ronald Barton and wife, Rhonda, Farmington; and a host of extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Jerry Barton; and an infant sister.
