Funeral service for Rosa Marie (Blake) Young was August 5, 2023 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Pastor John Smith officiating.
Interment was in the Concord Cemetery, Licking.
Pallbearers were Gary Brooks, Roger Kinder, Allen Ray, Jerry Martin, Butch Enke and Bobby Whitehouse. Honorary pallbearers were her great-grandsons, Mason Tomnitz and Cooper Tomnitz.
Mrs. Young was born December 20, 1934 in Phelps County to Eugene and Barbara (Buckner) Blake. She married Carl Young November 3, 1953. Mrs. Young died August 1, 2023 at the age of 88 years.
Survivors include her children, Brenda Rickard and husband, Chuck; Rhonda Tomnitz and husband, Jim; and Mark Young, all of Salem; grandchild, Jamie Tomnitz and wife, Fran; great-grandchildren, Mason and Cooper Tomnitz; and a host of extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband; parents; and all her brothers and sisters.
