Funeral service for John A. Stogsdill Sr., of Rolla, will be at 1 p.m. May 29, 2013 at Null and Son Funeral Home, Rolla, with Rev. Bill Miller and Rev. Eldon Gourley officiating.
Mr. Stogsdill was born March 2, 1935 in Yancy Mills to John P. and Agnes (Pritchett) Stogsdill. He married Pearl Williams December 24, 1956. Mr. Stogsdill died May 23, 2013 at the age of 78 years.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl Stogsdill, Rolla; sons, Joe Stogsdill and wife, Kelly; Richard Stogsdill, Sr. and wife, Cindy; and John Stogsdill Jr, all of Rolla; daughter, Carla Sullins and husband, Joe, Licking; brother, James Stogsdill, Rolla; sisters, Dora Drew, Rolla; Mildred Turner, Rolla; and Bertha Daily, Michigan; grandchildren, Jodi, Bryan, Joseph, Randall, Richard Jr., Andrew, Jenny and Johnnie; and great-grandchildren, Allen, Justin, Jayce, Paige, Owen, Angel, Bryson and Logan.
Mr. Stogsdill will lie in state 11 a.m. until time of service May 29, 2013 at Null and Son Funeral Home, Rolla.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one granddaughter, Morgan; three sisters and four brothers.
Mr. Stogsdill was a member of Lecoma Church.
