Graveside service for Rita Vaughn Echols was August 30, 2014 at family cemetery.
Mrs. Echols was born September 1, 1935 in Darbun, Miss., to Leona Katie Patterson-Bryant and John Robert Bryant. Mrs. Echols died August 30, 2014 at the age of 78 years.
Survivors include her husband, Dan Echols, Salem; children, Kenneth “Mack” McMillan and wife, Rhonda, Louisiana state; Patrick Kalloch and Sharon, Salem; stepdaughter, Linda Echols, Arizona state; brothers, Hoyce Bryant, Canton, Ohio; and Bobby Bryant and wife, Jennifer, Tylertown, Miss.; and a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Robert Bryant, Dempsey Bryant and Lloyd Bryant; sisters, Audree Meadows and Eva Jo Hollingsworth; daughter, Diane Sampley; and stepdaughter, Deborah Echols.
Mrs. Echols was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
