Private family service for Helen Delie (Young) Hanning will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilson Mortuary, Salem.
Mrs. Hanning was born November 7, 1940 in Salem to Raymond and Delie (Schafer) Young. She was married for 62 years to Gary Hanning. They were the parents of three children. Mrs. Hanning died April 26, 2025 in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, at the age of 84 years.
Survivors include her children, Rhonda Edmison and husband, Jeff, Carlisle, Pennsylvania; Randy Hanning and wife, Brenda, Salem; and Stephanie Hanning, Springfield; sisters, Linda Sullivan and Sharon Brower; grandchildren, Joshua, Bridgette, Stetson, and Savannah; great-grandchildren, Caolon, Declan, Jonathan, Zoey, and Jace; and a host of extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and sister, Maudeline (Young) Kinworthy.
