Interment was in the New Hope Cemetery, Salem.
Mr. Knueven was born September 9, 1934 in Portageville to Columbus Charles and Jessie (Ling) Knueven. He married Fern Nelson September 14, 1957. They were the parents of five children. Mr. Knueven died August 21, 2013 in Rolla at the age of 78 years, 11 months and 20 days.
Survivors include his wife, Fern Knueven, Salem; children, Robert Knueven and wife, Glenda; Barry Knueven and wife, Mary Beth, all of Salem; Anna Hammann and husband, Scott, Creve Coeur; and Shelly Kurtz, Ballwin; 13 grandchildren, Candice Langley and husband, Zeke; Scott Knueven and wife, Crystal; Chanel Jensen and husband, Jon; Brett Knueven and fiancé, Tori Filippini; Melissa Knueven; Joel Akins; Austin Kurtz; Leah Hammann; Joshua Knueven; Allie Kurtz; Elena Hammann; Kaithlyn Knueven and Lexy Kurtz; seven great-grandchildren, Jaice Jensen, Hailynn Jensen, Victoria Langley, Cooper Knueven, Hollan Langley, Camden Knueven and Jensen Akins.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Charles and Aletha; daughter, Sandy Knueven Akins; mother, Jessie; and one infant brother, Charles.
Mr. Knueven attended New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He served in the military for two years in Alaska.
