Funeral service for Larry Beck was November 17, 2011 at Dent County Memorial Chapel, Salem, with John Adam Smith and J.J. Tune officiating.

Interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jason Smith, Bill Smith Jr., Alvin Hoffman, Brett Hoffman, Justin Teague, John A. Smith and Gerald Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Perry Hoffman, John Plank, Ed LeMay, Phil Delashmit, Willie Woolsey and Joe Aldridge.
Mr. Beck was born September 15, 1943 in St. Louis to Eugene and Goldie (Smith) Beck. He married Barbara Sue Smith June 22, 1963. Mr. Beck died November 12, 2011 in Rolla at the age of 68 years, one month and 28 days.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Sue Beck, Rolla; brothers-in-law, Bill Smith and wife, Mary, Salem; Ronnie Smith and wife, Claudine, Cuba; Gerald Smith and wife, Sue, Salem; sister-in-law, Carol Pruett and good friend, Ronald Hammon, Rolla; and a host of nieces; nephews; extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and one brother-in-law, Conrad Smith.
Mr. Beck was a member of the St. James Lodge 230, becoming a Master Mason in 1966. He was Worshipful Master in 2005. He was also a member of The Scottish Rite being a 32nd degree Red Hat and was a member of The York Rite and received the distinguished award of KYCH. He was also a Knight's Mason and affiliated with The Allied Masonic Degree.
