Funeral service for Van Calvin Seigrist was July 15, 2013 at Ohlman Baptist Church, with Terry Sharpe and Ron Fears officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of McSpadden Funeral Home, Bunker.
Interment was in the Corridon-Reynolds Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Chad Fears, Michael Fears, John Wimberly, Stacy Fears, Mike Hatcher and Larry May Jr.
Mr. Seigrist was born July 5, 1953 in Little Rock, Ark., to George and Thelma (McChristian) Seigrist. He married Jennifer Wood December 12, 2008. Mr. Seigrist died July 12, 2013 in Ellington at the age of 60 years.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Seigrist, Ellington; children, Van Seigrist Jr. and wife, Kristi, Yukon, Okla.; Gordon Seigrist and wife, Brandy, Viburnum; Jonathan Wood, Ellington; Eva Seigrist, Viburnum; Cristan Asberry, Ellington; grandchildren, Austin, Madelyn, Kaitlyn, Daniel, Kaylee and Hunter; brothers, David Seigrist and wife, Debbie, Jacksonville, Ark.; Ricky Seigrist and wife, Marilyn, Jacksonville; Douglas Seigrist and wife, Missie, Beebe, Ark.; Noble Seigrist and wife, Carolyn, Jacksonville; Allan Seigrist, Dermott, Ark.; Tony Seigrist and wife, Christina, Sherwood, Ark.; sisters, Leola Stafford, Beebe; Georgia Sills, Vilonia, Ark.; Delores Sutterfield and husband, Dusty, Sherwood; Deborah Butler and husband, James, Bald Knob, Ark.; Ruie Pope and husband, Ralph, Beebe; Linda Pierce and husband, Darrell, Sherwood; Hope Conley and husband, Curtis, Ward, Ark.; sister-in-law, Karen Seigrist, Sherwood; and a host of nieces; nephews; extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one daughter, Vannessa Maize; and two brothers, Harvey and Gordon Seigrist.
Mr. Seigrist was a member of the Ohlman Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday School.
