Funeral service for Janice Mae Pruett was February 7, 2025 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Pastor Chris Hendrix officiating.
Interment was in the Boone Creek Cemetery, Licking.
Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers were Dalton Chapman, Trenton Berry, Rowdy Mackley, Noah Sapp, Aaron Steelman, Matt Thedford, Jennifer Thedford, and Darrick Chapman.
Ms. Pruett was born August 15, 1950 in Licking to Virgil and Gladys (Wilson) Pruett. She married Larry Chapman May 6, 1966. They were the parents of one son. Ms. Pruett died February 2, 2025 in Sullivan at the age of 74 years.
Survivors include her son, Rick Chapman and wife, Paula; sister, Vicky McDonald; grandchildren, Darrick Chapman and wife, Ashlee; Stephanie Meredith; Sarah Chapman; Shelby Chapman; and Dalton Chapman and wife, Makaila; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and siblings, JR Pruett, Don Pruett, Charlotte Parks, JoAnn Stewart, and Bill Pruett.
