Funeral service for Vivian Irene Curtis was February 11, 2022 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Pastor Jerry Lea officiating.
Mrs. Curtis was born January 1, 1940 in Jadwin to Edgar Eugene and Lomagene (Petty) Curtis. She died February 6, 2022 in Salem at the age of 82 years.
Survivors include her children, Bill Bettigrew and Melissa McAnally, Salem; Sue Maxwell and John Hudson, Canon City, Colorado; Vinnie Curtis, Salem; Kerri Skinner and husband, Frank, Hillsboro; Holly Maxwell, Salem; sister, Lomagene Watson, Hermann; grandchildren, James Lunn and wife, Emily; Karen Bettigrew; Billie Bettigrew; Jerry Todd Bettigrew and wife, Brooke; Lindsey Schmiderer and husband, Tyler; Shaun Will and Rene; Crystal Poertner; Alicia Hughes and husband, Todd; Robert Poertner; Allen Harris; Erika Ahart and husband, Rome; Ray Hudson; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; sons, Ed Bettigrew and Steven John; and eight siblings.
