Funeral service for Robert Eugene Anderson Sr. was October 31, 2019 at James & Gahr Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with David Jordan and Linda Skaggs officiating. Music was provided by Katina Skaggs.
Interment was in the North Lawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Richard Overby, Jimmie Skaggs, Don Anderson, Dalton Skaggs, Billy Ursery and David Anderson. Honorary pallbearer was Lee White.
Mr. Anderson was born June 10, 1941 in Salem to Eris and Dorma Lee Anderson. He died October 27, 2019 at the age of 78 years.
Survivors include his son, Robert “Bobby” Anderson Jr., Tampa, Florida; daughter, Linda Skaggs, Salem; sisters, Sharon Lewis and husband, Jerry, Cedar Hill; Theresa White and husband, Lee, High Ridge; and Vera Callahan and husband, William, Imperial; brothers, Carol Potter, Salem; Don Anderson and wife, Barb, High Ridge; Eris Anderson Jr., Overland; Darrold Anderson and wife, Juda, Poplar Bluff; and David Anderson and wife, Linda, Fenton; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and sister, Virginia Anderson.
Mr. Anderson attended Where Living Waters Flow Church.
