Funeral service for Clarice “Peggy” Berry was March 8, 2014 at Potosi Southern Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Isgriggs officiating.
Interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Berry was born January 12, 1909 in Salem to William Linzie and Rebecca Elizabeth “Bessie” (Tyree) Hagler. She married Henry Berry September 29, 1926. Mrs. Berry died March 3, 2014 in Potosi at the age of 105 years, one month and 19 days.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Dr. Steven Poe, Terry Poe and Cherie Poe; great-grandchildren, Stefanie and Craig Poe; sister, Bessie Rohrich, Arizona; and a host of extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; daughter, Doris Weston; sisters, Eunice Rogers, Ruby Burgum and Maxine Pepmiller; brothers, Johnny, Dorse, Marshall and June Hagler.
Mrs. Berry was a member of the Potosi Southern Baptist Church.
