Funeral service for Thomas Howard Dixon was September 23, 2014 at Salem Lutheran Church with Pastor David Kettner officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary, Salem.
Music was provided by Danny Clemens, Philip Giacomelli and Carolyn Shadle.
Interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
Pallbearers were Richard Jester, Jerry Jester, Charles Jester, Scott Muth, Don Graham and Al Mares. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Walker-Roney American Legion Post #99 Funeral Honors Team.
Mr. Dixon was born October 29, 1940 in Dayton, Oregon to Howard and Elean (Clevenger) Dixon. He married Theresa Ann Jester April 26, 1980. Mr. Dixon died September 18, 2014 in Salem at the age of 73 years.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Dixon, Salem; children, Peggy Clemens and husband, Bill, St. Peters; Ronald Adler Jr., St. Peters; Theresa Ekaitis and husband, George, California state; and Michael Lewis, Texas state; sister, Barbara Danbom and husband, Paul, California state; brother, Lewis Dixon, Oregon state; grandchildren, Billy Clemens; Danny Clemens and wife, Erin; Katie Clemens; Joey Clemens; Jimmy Clemens; Patricia Adler; Maggie Adler; Steven Hall; Heather Yount and husband, Dell.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and brother, Leroy Dixon.
Mr. Dixon was a member of Walker-Roney American Legion Post #99 and he was a member of Salem Lutheran Church.
