Funeral service for Steven “Steve” Edward Norris was July 16, 2022 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Pastor Charlie Younger officiating.
Music was provided by Charlie Younger.
Interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Missouri Honors Team and American Legion Post 99.
Pallbearers were Scott Norris, Cody Norris, Hayden Norris, Steven Taylor, Dawson Norris, Taylor Norris, Dean Busbey and Larry Wingfield.
Mr. Norris was born October 18, 1954 in Salem to Kenneth Edward and Doris (Hedrick) Norris. He married Christina “Tina” Wingfield October 20, 1979. They were the parents of two sons. Mr. Norris died July 12, 2022 in Salem at the age of 67 years.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Norris, Salem; sons, Scott Norris and wife, Sherry, Salem; and Cody Norris and wife, Kayla, Salem; mother, Doris Hedrick Norris, Salem; siblings, Kent Norris, Salem; Brenda Terry and husband, Randall, Springfield; Beverly Berry and husband, Terry, Salem; and Rosemary Heman, Salem; grandchildren, Taylor, Dawson, Jayden, Hayden, Liam, Reagan and Emma; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his father; father and mother-in-law, Samuel Paul and Bessie Catherine Wingfield; sisters-in-law, Nancy Norris, Patricia Wingfield; and Vicky Wingfield.
