Funeral mass for Rosemary Major was February 25, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Jose officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of James & Gahr Mortuary, Salem.
Interment was in the North Lawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Tom Wulff, Steve Wulff, Ryker Major, Ed Jezik, Jerry Jezik and Tim Cahill.
Mrs. Major was born October 22, 1942 in Jennings to Ed and Evelyn (Dussold) Jezik. She married Jack Major July 5, 1967. They were the parents of one son. Mrs. Major died February 22, 2023 in Licking at the age of 80 years.
Survivors include her son, Donald Major and wife, Nancy, Salem; brothers, Ed Jezik and wife, Kathy, Wentzville; Jerry Jezik and wife, Shelley, Webster Groves; brother-in-law, James Major and wife, Jimmalee, Salem; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; and sister, Evelyn Humphries.
