Funeral service for Dennis Dewaine Nash was November 28, 2020, at New Harmony Church with Pastor Kevin Smith, Pastor Tim Howe, and Pastor Jason Redick officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Lebanon.
Interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Nash was born July 26, 1950, in Salem to Richard “Dewaine” and Edith Mae (Black) Nash. He married Brenda Kay Schafer, June 5, 1971. To their union two sons were born. Mr. Nash died November 24, 2020, in Salem, at the age of seventy years, three months, and twenty-eight days.
Survivors include wife, Brenda; sons, Greg, and Brad and wife, Deanna, all of Salem,; grandchildren, Collin; Kaleigh O’Daniel and husband, Andy; Emily, Savannah, Erin, Benton, Aubrey, and Eli; great-granddaughter, Willow, and one great-grandson on the way; mother, Edith Nash, Salem; brothers, Randy Nash, and wife, Kathy, Lee’s Summit; and Mark Nash, and wife, Tammy, Salem; sister, Jackie Lunn and husband, Keith, Battlefield; mother-in-law, Jessie Schafer; brothers-in-law, Dennis Schafer and wife, Cindy, and Larry Schafer and wife, Shelley; sister-in-law, Debbie Hines, and husband, Tim, all of Salem; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding in death were his father; father-in-law, Jr. Schafer; sister-in-law, Sandra Schafer; and nephew, Christian Schafer.

Mr. Nash graduated from Salem High School in the Class of 1969. He worked at Pines Chevrolet, C & E Auto Sales, and Dent County Motors, in Salem. In addition he worked at Fairground Chevrolet in Rolla; Mid-Missouri Motors in St. Robert; and Lindsay Chevrolet in Lebanon.
Mr. Nash was a musician, playing guitar as a teen at Revival Tabernacle, and served in music ministry at various churches including Corinth Baptist Church and New Harmony Church. For close to 25 years while attending New Harmony he served as a deacon, worship leader and bass player at New Harmony Church. He led worship and played guitar at Lebanon First Baptist Church. For the last few years, he attended Heritage Baptist Church and ministered in music.
