Funeral service for Nancy E. Pfeiffer-Stephens was December 16, 2017 at James & Gahr Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Pastor Lyndell Decker officiating.
Interment was in the New Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Stephens was born October 5, 1936 to George Walter and Alice Minerva (Cisco) Baur. She married Bobby Stephens. Mrs. Stephens died December 11, 2017 at the age of 81 years.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Stephens, Salem; children, Cathy Burrus and husband, Randy, Salem; Ray Bollinger, Salem; Linda Wagner and significant other, Terry, Salem; Kelly Stephens and wife, Belinda, Carthage; Billy Stephens and wife, Donna, Montevideo, Minnesota; Lance Stephens, Hallsville; Savannah D’Ambrosio, Cincinnati, Ohio; brother, George Baur Jr. and wife, Gloria, Millstadt, Illinois; sister, Martha Powers and husband, Mick, Cheyenne, Wyoming; sister-in-law, Jenny Baur, Bolder Springs, Colorado; brother-in-law, William Dorman, Collinsville, Illinois; grandchildren, Elizabeth, James, Zach, Nathan, Andy, Raenan, Drake, Lidia, Kayle and Luca; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; sister, Katherine "Mickey" Dorman; and brother, James Baur.
Mrs. Stephens and her husband were joint proprietors of Stephens Family Steak House.
