Funeral service for Margaret Rose (Trebilcock) Niemi was February 19, 2013 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Bro. Charlie Younger officiating.

Interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Michael Gregory, Daniel Gregory, Kenny Bradshaw, Larry Land, John Cotner Jr. and Taylor Skaggs.
Mrs. Niemi was born March 19, 1922 in Virginia, Minn., to Alfred John and Henrietta (Winnicott) Trebilcock. She married Walter Henry Niemi in 1939. They were the parents of one daughter. Mrs. Niemi died February 14, 2013 in Springfield at the age of 90 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Priscilla Land and husband, Larry, Salem; brother, Alfred Treb, Chicago, Ill.; three grandchildren, Liz Gorson and friend, Ken Bradshaw, Salem; Michael Gregory and wife, Maureen, Tuscon, Arz.; and Daniel Gregory and wife, Kimberly, Salem; six great-grandchildren, John Cotner and wife, Daylena, Salem; Andrea Haley and husband, Nick, Salem; Michael Mohapt and wife, Melody, North Carolina; Estevan Gregory and friend, Gina, Tuscon; Catrina Lee and husband, Edmond, Tuscon; Matthew Gregory, Salem; and ten great-great-grandchildren, Harlee, Christian, Taylor, Levi, Zoey, Brian, Caden, Xavier, Iliana and Ariana.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; one brother, Richard Trent; and one sister, Constance Thysell.
Mrs. Niemi was baptized Episcopalian.
