Funeral mass for Rita Carol (Meyer) Bilbrey was March 2, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Salem, with Father Antoney Jose Thundathil, CMI officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary, Salem.
Interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Daniel Bilbrey, Josiah Bilbrey, David Bilbrey, Jamie Bilbrey, Robert Heard and Dennis Crocker. Honorary pallbearers were Rebekah Bilbrey, Kei Bilbrey and Aya Bilbrey.
Mrs. Bilbrey was born May 17, 1935 in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Raymond Charles and Katherine Elizabeth (Lynch) Meyer. She married George Richard Bilbrey January 24, 1970. They were the parents of two sons. Mrs. Bilbrey died February 25, 2021 in Salem at the age of 85 years.
Survivors include her husband, George Bilbrey, Salem; sons, Daniel Bilbrey and wife, Danielle; and David Bilbrey and wife, Mikiko; grandchildren, Josiah, Rebekah, Kei and Aya; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Raymond Meyer; and sisters, Suellen Johnson and Cathleen Meyer.
