Memorial service for Edith Marie (Stump) Skiles was February 8, 2025 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Pastor Mickey Davis officiating.

Interment was in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
Mrs. Skiles was born June 28, 1926 in Dent County to Cyrus Field and Edith Minnie (Marrill) Stump. She married Clarence Leo Skiles July 15, 1944. They were the parents of six children. Mrs. Skiles died January 24, 2025 in Salem at the age of 98 years.
Survivors include her children, Joyce Davis, Paris, Missouri; Darrell Skiles and wife, Marianne, Salem; and Sherri Skiles, Salem; daughter-in-law, Rita Skiles, Salem; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband; sons, Gary Skiles and wife, Susan, and Dennis Skiles; infant daughter, Colette Skiles; parents; and her siblings.
